Guys, is cumming the same as orgasming?

I give my boyfriend handjobs regularly, and he cums every time and really (REALLY) enjoys them, but he says that he doesn't think he has orgasmed. I'm curious if he thinks an orgasm is more than what it is, like, maybe he is orgasming but he expected an orgasm to be more intense or something. Like maybe there's too much hype and so the real thing is just good-not-euphoric? Point is, I've heard that cumming IS orgasming, so yeah... if he cums, is he orgasming? Are they the same?

  • In men they are absolutely the same.

If you train, you can learn to get the sensation of an orgasm without cumming, but if you cum, you are definitely orgasming.

If he's not that amazed by the sensation, there are many ways to increase it. Try masturbating until he almost cums, then stop, wait a few minutes, then go again until he almost cums, stop, wait, go again... do this a few times then finally go for it all the way until he cums. It will be extra powerful and extra sensational!

  • I'm surprise everybody's saying it's the same. It's possible to cum without having an orgasm. Happened to me a few times. Usually it happens when you cum several times in a short period of time. It gets to a point where you just don't feel anything anymore.

  • cumming = orgasm. yes. women get all this other shit going on. but guys just let it fly...

  • OK you are a minor so Im just going to keep this simple and clinical. If he ejaculated his semen the he DID have an orgasm. If he doesn't think so then he needs educated.

  • It's something happens along with a orgasm

    • I can cum and not have a orgasm so it would fill like crap to me

  • Cum = orgasm for the most part. You can have more intense ones from sex but if cum comes out pretty sure it's the big O

  • cumming IS orgasming, guy can shoot some cum without orgasming if you hold him till the edge and then let be, it is also called ruined orgasm (but even this often leads to orgasm). He maybe meant orgasming by cumming inside of vagina

  • You should learn this type if stuff before you start being intimate and especially sex

    • don't agree, you often don't know what to ask/learn until you start being intimate

  • The orgasm part is distinctly different from the ejaculating part. I usually have about a 5-10sec orgasm (never timed it though) that finishes with me cumming. Although I don't feel it's possible to have one without the other.

  • if a guy cum he has orgasmied

  • your boyfriend is stupid. for men it's the same. there is not cuming without orgasm. it's just that he got desensitized... .

  • No some guys can do it separately
