  • Yes, many psychological studies over the years have proven men to be non-monogamous by nature. But that doesn’t give him an excuse to cheat. Women traditionally were found to be the opposite as in monogamous. I come from a family and background where men are not monogamous. But it’s not a free for all either. If a man is polygamous, he is married individually to each wife and there is a marriage bed and master bedroom per wife. So it’s respectful and not a group deal or some other perversion. Also, the wives know each other and are the best of friends. They must consent if any additional wives come into the family or if a husband can even be free to date or court a potential additional wife. But they are married and have permission from existing wives, so it’s not cheating. It’s bliblical.

  • Looking at other women and thinking that they are attractive does not mean that a married man has any intention of pursuing those feelings. Do you think something automatically shuts off those feelings when a guy agrees to date a girl exclusively?

    • But if that woman you find attractive asks you to have sex with her or pursues you, you'd consider it. It wouldn't be no every single time.

    • I have been dating and in relationships for the past 52 yars and have never once been unfaithful to a partner. Never even came close.

    • But has the opportunity presented itself to you?

  • I think it's about testosterone and sperm. Men have billions of them. They're made to spread them around by biology. But once a man finds a suitable mate and spreads with her, most men usually are fine with having a few good offspring and fathering them properly.

  • Every human is polyamorous by nature. Societal norms, misogynistic laws, and religious restrictions have just convinced people otherwise.

  • What's the difference between nature and our mind?

You choose your nature, to some extent.

  • Man can impregnate multiple women simultaneously, but satisfied man less likely to cheat.

Is every man just polygamous by nature?
  • Yes, but many are able to remain monogamous.

  • No..

  • I think it is in out DNA but that does not justify it. That's why culture developed fidelity, honor and self restraint. But if you look at higher apes, they form harems. If you look at other carnivorous mammals, they fight and kill for exclusivity.

  • Noticing that other women are attractive is not the same as being polygamous or desiring polygamy. Monogamy evolved naturally because monogamous societies are more conducive to propagating the species under most circumstances due to the inherently higher level of violence in polygamous societies.

  • Not Every man is like that no. Just as not every woman cheat.

  • sure. men will always desire other women. but if they are happy in their relationship and fully satisfied, then they won't compromise it for anything.

  • There's that "back-of-mind" desire... But it's the decision to not.

  • I don't know if I "desire" other women like I do with my girlfriend, but I wouldn't be opposed to having a threesome with her and another girl if I found that girl attractive.

  • It would keep me busy and I wouldn't be looking at a lot of eye candy.

  • No, but I am.

  • Not true

  • Yes they'll always be temptation even for woman it's the same I have friends that are in a relationship and still flirt with me we don't go any further that that but it's not because they don't want to. Just realized there in a relationship there not dead lol
