But I had a heated argument with a friend , he said homosexual incest is more tolerable because they can't make a child.

I told him that incest no whether it is straight or gay is not acceptable.

He is wrong in that the reason it is overlooked more often is not pregnancy but that girls are looked at as incent and defenseless that need protection and boys are seen to be stronger and able to defend themselves. You are correct in that it is wrong no matter the sex of either person. Boys in fact are molested far more often than girls and far fewer ever say anything to anyone out of shame.

Incest is bad becuse of the power dynamics. It becomes really hard to have consensual sex when you have been thought to "respect" or "listen" to your older brother for and example. Obviusly those words dosnt men to follow their every command but you get what I mean, younger siblings and such often look up to their older siblings and dont wanna disappoint them bu saying no. Same relation can be found in cousins.
