I'm not really in favor of the whole friends with benefits thing; it lowers the value of a physical relationship and the stability associated with it. When you find a lasting relationship, are you going to feel it's ok to have varying degrees of physical intimacy with other people? There is genuine value in monogamy. You need to know you can trust your partner to be exclusively your partner. That's security. No security, no happiness. We've gotten lost in only thinking about the pleasure we're going to have in the next five minutes, and kick away anything that gets in the way of that. Time for growing up is here.
