Is it alright to let my cat sleep with me?

I find it kinda unhygienic that she wants to lay in bed bed with me even after she poops so I’m trying to stop her but I don’t really know how.

Superb Opinion

  • what kind of cat do you have?

what is the age of the cat, or kitten?

what's the health condition of your cat?

cats are usually very clean and self sufficient animals, and they are very particular about hygiene... if you have a couple of litter boxes for them around the house, then you should not be seeing poop anywhere else in the house

if you see cat poop somewhere else, or on your bed, or their coat, legs or tail... that would be a clear sign that something is definitely wrong with them and you should take them to a vet for consultation at the very least

    • What does it mean if they do have poop on their tail or something?

    • usually, cats do not soil themselves... so if you see poop on them, their tail, their legs, their coat, paws anywhere... it would be a sign of something else happening with them cats are extremely clean creatures

  • My wife bought a little rug and we had it at the foot of our bed. The cat would sleep on that. Once in a while we would run it through the washing machine.

    • Thanks for the MHO😎

  • It is your choice.. if it messes with your sleep or hygiene then change it.

  • I usually end up with like 3 dogs n a few cats. There my mothers but find it better to bother me. They prefer.. me not on the bed.

  • I don't see a problem with it. Cats are very clean. They spend like 90% of their time grooming themselves 😆

  • Sure, she loves you and wants to snuggle.

  • Just wash your sheets regularly. Cats like to snuggle, don't miss out

  • Way better than letting a dog sleep with you.

  • i let mine... they are cleaner than dogs in my opinion lol

  • I always did when I had a cat.

  • It varies from state to state, so check your local laws.

  • No, cats like to rape their masters while they sleep.
