... and I can assure you that they aren't too welcome as persons.
In fact, Indians spend above average during holidays, and that's why they are sort of wanted here.
But then: Thailand is known for sex tourism - not only Indians are motivated to come and check it out. In fact, U. S. American troops on R&R during their Vietnam fiasco were roughly twice as hormone driven as their Indian counterparts.
I would say that the majority of male travellers -in the world overall- are reasonably civilized, though.

  @Tstrbrainer I have this feed-back from quite a number of Thais; some of them are prostitutes. You guys seem to have some unwanted behaviours; I was never told details, though. I saw it myself once that an Indian turned up a second time in a 'pub' where he had hired a girl before: this second time all the girls kept away from him. This is not an exception - I hear comments from others as well. There must be something in male Indian 'culture' that just doesn't match well with many. It can't be the 'rich' thing: 2000 THB are always 2000 THB - no matter what currency they came from. My own encounters with Indians are mostly unpleasant as well.

  Okay. I hope it is the cultural differences. But if you could kindly share any general things in our behaviours which you found uncomfortable, maybe it will help us to understand any mistakes we make. There are a lot of differences between people of different countries it may be haptics or semantics or others like body language and gestures. There is a difference between the way we socialize. To be honest, even we ourselves sometimes find some difficulties when it comes to language and food.

  @Tstrbrainer I can explain my own ‘difficulties’. It appears to me that they are somewhat typical, as I hear similar comments from many other parts of the world. Forgive, if this may sound stereotypical here or there; I just talk about ‘my’ Indians now… A few examples: 1 – Dishonesty: Especially in ‘business’ they have sneaky and creepers' procedures that are close to bribery, nepotism, manipulation 2 – ‘’The Macho’’: over-emphasis of being… ‘manly’ – the tough guy who has it all under control 3 – “Pussy”: although trying to be ‘Macho’, it’s always ‘the others’ fault; Indians usually see themselves as victims of i. e. British colonialism, ‘racist’ prejudices and such 3 – sex life: I hear, they make love like a raged water buffalo: reckless egocentrism 4 – A relaxed attitude towards the possessions of others. Theft and embezzlement seem to be excusable proven methods if own goals are achieved 5 – Soap opera: could be explained with ‘Bollywood movies’… a tendency to act out idealized ideas rather than facing realities. 6 - More on a humorous side… Indians seem to be colour blind when it comes to home or temple decoration

  Well, I don't remember, have we met before 😂😂? I don't think you are absolutely wrong. You are right to an extent.. But I don't understand about colour blindedness, you should see the festivals in India, full of various bright colors... However, I don't know to describe the things about colours.

Yes, every one has sexual desires and they would love to explore new people.

It's not just Indians going to Thailand. It happens with people of every country.
It's just that Thailand is a country near to India and as far as I know, things are financially cheap there.

  In that case, Indian guys should be saints. Sex is only allowed in marriage in Indian culture. Come on, we are not even allowed to dance with other girls in our schools like Halloween party or prom nights etc found in Western countries. We don't have that here Even a hug creates scandals in many parts of the country except big cities. Few years back I heard of an issue where disciplinary action was taken against a boy and girl because they just hugged. The guy was just appreciating the other over an achievement. Many see sex as a taboo.

  I only know general things about guys from rest of the world and being a male myself, I am as interested in a woman as any other man does. Every culture has their own stories about greatness as well as lust. It's cultural and linguistics that makes it more difficult to understand each other.

  Actually, prostitution is illegal, here. Only: much of the police and government is too corrupt to be willing to give up their financial share in the 'business'. But you are right: unless they are a 'customer', Indian men are looked down upon.

  Hey man, I'm an Indian and there are many prostitutes in India too. As far as I know, Thailand women are cheap and thus easy to afford. I would prefer to visit a prostitute in my country rather than depending on a foreign state and I don't think it is easy to convict a person for prostitution as it is basically consensual and involvement of money is difficult to prove. So I would bravely go to one in my country
