Is it common for the testicles to be ticklish?

My boyfriend and I sometimes play around with bondage in the bedroom. Yesterday I had him tied up and he was challenging me to "do my worst", all in good fun of course.

I started tickling/teasing him by just very lightly running my fingernails all over his body and when I did it to his balls he jumped so I started tickling his scrotum and he went completely crazy.

I didn't know it was a sensitive area in that kind of way.
I've had 2 boyfriends before him and neither of them seemed ticklish.

How normal is this?
Are many guys ticklish on their balls?

  • I'm not ticklish on my balls, but their are a lot of nerves in the general area, hence why they say "don't forget about the balls" :P

    I'm ticklish in my upper thighs! But i couldnt imagine ticklish balls... might take away from what i could let a girl to do them!
