Is it improper to get nude in the gym lockerroom/showers since both genitals freely intermingle there now?

If there are separate nude areas and common areas, then we should respect that and not be naked in common areas. If it’s like the older swim lockers, with open showers, then nude is fine as I don’t see any reason to wear a suit to shower.

  I don’t want to get dressed in the shower… they installed stalls in the old open bay showers. I walked nude to the adjacent locker room and noticed no one else was nude… Weird

  If it’s a mixed gender area, and the showers are separated, I would expect some attempt at discretion. If it’s all open or same gender, then do whatever is comfortable. Basically, read the room. If you’re the only one doing it, it’s probably not what is expected.

Our gym lockerrooms as seperated by gender. Some people get naked others wrap up in a towel.

Did you ever see, "Woodstock"? There's a scene part way in where dozens of people of both sexes are running around nude and swimming and even bathing in Filippi pond on Max's farm and everything's absolutely cool!! Nobody's harrassing anybody else or being rude or a perv or molesting anyone else. If they can do it, I can't see any reason why people around the world can't.

  Transgender? MY personal opinion is simple, men and women, boys and girls all have a gender identity. Unless one is found to be abusing the privilege of being able to be in a state of undress with the opposite sex, they should be left alone.

  Are you a female biologically but consider yourself transgender? If so then does the thought of male genitalia give you thoughts of a sexual kind? If you are male but upset with females showering with you, naked, maybe you should shower at home.

  I’m male, biological and physically. Transgenders have made the traditional locker room traditions confusing and awkward. I was just blowing off steam. It’s the potential sexual harassment and the vague unexplained rules since this is the locker/shower room at work
