  • Someone mentioned to me that they saw that on someone's profile on here as well. Maybe it's the same person? As far as what is appropriate or not, it depends on what kind of profile it is, I suppose. On an adult dating site, for example, it might be perfectly normal. The site 7orBetter actually has information about the degree of endowment as one of the main site-implemented information fields that can be filled out by selecting from a dropdown list with differing length ranges, not entirely dissimilar to what I might expect some banned polls on here to have been like. AdultFriendFinder also has male endowment level as one of the selections to be made for display on the member's profile. (Don't ask me how I know these things...)

On this site, however, it seems like that would be a personal detail that would be unnecessary and not information that was intended by the operators of the site to be included in a person's biographical information or other message for viewers of his or her profile. I feel like it is at least phrased in a way that is a bit less vulgar than other ways I could think of to convey the same general meaning. Personally, I wouldn't have information like that presented on my profile on here or anywhere else where the conveyance of such information would make the expected audience uncomfortable and when such information does not facilitate the purpose intended for the medium or platform involved, especially if the audience might be reasonably anticipated to not exclude all persons under 18.

At the same time, the person may have some grounds (even if only imaginary) for believing that such information serves an explanatory function in giving background information that will permit the recipient of such information to make more accurate conclusions and assumptions about the person and his or her biases and experiences. With all this in mind, and with the somewhat vague manner in which the question is presented, my response in the poll was that it is normal info. But I hope the opinion expressed herein demonstrates the fact that that view is subject to nuance.

  • Depends on what profile it is.

    LinkedIn? Probably not.

Dating apps? If he finds it important why not. Mine is big soft, I do have a photo of me in an outfit that shows the crotch bulge.

Websites of a sexual nature or swinging? Of course.

  • Lmao I think it depends on the website content of the website! Thats the think that can turn it from *hm good to know* to *eww cringe*! If its on say, fetlife or another kink site for hookups then a lot of people reading it are thankful to have the info ahead of time. But if it’s for here or like, Quora, it’s kind of inappropriate. Especially here since a lot of the users are a younger age..

    • My view (as you may be able to tell if you read my opinion here) is fairly similar to this, but with a few slight variations. But reading this explanation, I am inclined to agree with your assertion. Good answer.

  • I know Harvard University is well endowed, but I don’t think you mean it the same way.

  • Lol what a gifted man, it's more likely for gay guys to put it I'd say, to impress other guys, and for straight guys to impress other women, maybe only the most desperate or insecure men will put it on their dating profile for women. Lol. Honesty is the best policy maybe he thinks to score the chicks and stand out 👀👀😊✌🏻

  • That’s not honorable

  • Yes, it is

  • It sounds immature.

    • Very immature

  • if a girl wants that, now her question is answered. i was going to say i would not respond that, but then i thought, well i might, but either way he will get some girls responding to it

    • If a guy tells you over the Internet, he’s well endowed, I can assure you he is not well endowed.

    • then if i liked him on the date, he would lose me for lying when i saw it

    • Not true. You can’t say that for sure. But it’s a stupid, moronic claim to make in any case, be it true or not.
