Is it natural for straight men to be disgusted by gay sex or is it a social construct?

  • I think disgusted comes from social construct because sex is basically sex. Avoidance to actually seeing it like porn etc. comes more from orientation. Also, it starts the wheels going in a man's brain of who have they been walking around with in locker rooms etc. who might actually been eyeing them without them knowing it. It's like women having men secretly watching them and them feeling very uncomfortable by such a thing.

  • I think it's natural that straight people think of gay sex as disgusting, because they never see themselves doing it, and have zero desire to. That however does not mean that they think that gay people are disgusting, n'or do they really care about gay people doing their thing in bed.

  • Social construct. I notice they aren't disgusted by lesbians and that's gay sex. Trying gay sex I didn't feel disgusted, it just didn't do it for me. It is completely a social construct, having said that, we live in a society, which itself is a social construct. If your region teaches that with no other outlet, then it is natural in that region. It might sound messed up, but travel some, normal is a relative thing.

  • I think it depends on the guy. Some guys absolutely are disgusted by gay sex and that's fine. For every sexual act there is, there are gonna be people grossed out by it. There isn't one thing everyone likes.
But I think there are also some guys who don't really care one way or another about gay sex, but feel pressured by society to act repulsed, so that no one thinks they are gay

  • They shouldn't care, if they don't like it, they don't

  • Social construct that's taught at a young age. It's more or less fault of the environment said homophobe is living in. Extremely religous or conservative families are much more likley to teach kids to hate all non-cis, non-white, non-straight people. I'm not blaming the homophobe but I will blame their environment. It's a definite social construct that is completely avoidable if people had better environments.

  • Definitely something they're raised into, gay sex does not bother me, tooooo much, still throws me off a bit but that's entirely based on my upbringing and lack of normalization to sexuality.

  • I think it's natural. I was always drawn to females and never had one bit if sexual interest in men. Ewww ick.

  • it's repulsive

  • It's an ingrained biological disgust to the act, or image of the act.

  • It's natural for straight men to be disgusted and repulsed by that.

  • Natural. Embracing gay sex reflects some sort of derangement.

  • Natural obviously

  • I think part of it is biological. Most mammals use mounting to show dominance between males and it maybe a throw back to that instinct.

  • Natural. There has even been research indicating that even the "liberal" men found gay sex disgusting on par with seeing maggots.

  • When I was in high school I saw two guys kiss and I almost threw up instantly. It was very gross.

  • If they care too much about how gay people are having sex, they might be gay themselves

  • social construct/social conditioning.

  • be disgusted... very disgusted... but don't tell anybody

  • Disgust is a reflex to many sicknesses. I'm not saying that homosexuality is a sickness, but perhaps it has something to do with the psychology of seeing it ideas about homosexuality.

  • disgust is my first reaction, unless they’re ladies, then it’s hot

  • I'm not disgusted by gay sex

  • It is natural to be disgusted by homosexuality because God turns them over to a reprobate mind.

  • Pretty much just natural... becouse we like femininy... if two fat hairy and sweaty dudes fuck believe me it would be disgusting for mostly everyone except the ones that actually have a fetish in that direction
