  • I started masturbating when I was five, albeit quite innocently, I didn't have a clue what I was doing, but I had an orgasm every time so I just kept doing it every night. Of course I didn't ejaculate with the orgasm until I was around 12 or 13. I think it's fairly normal for both guys and girls.

    • did your parents care?

    • I don't think they knew as I only did it when I was in bed at night, that is until my mom caught me when I was around fifteen.

    • oh and im guessing she wasn't mad or anything at 15

  • Yes it is normal.

  • Yeah it’s normal

  • I know for fact going out with no underwear on and I was like age 2-3
and was just touching myself in the backyard I believe my mom came
out to finally get me but I really didn't start making cum until I was age 12
I do remember wearing shorts when I was in 5th grade and in Class
everyone went to the Choir there I was playing with myself then I went
in the bathroom to finish myself off but all my cock did was jump
from but it felt amazing also I always liked palpitating my cock
with two hands wow what amazing it felt then that's when I had cum

  • There is an age where they're too young and that's obviously before puberty when they don't even know what they're attracted to. Every kid hits puberty and gets the hormones that give them sexual desires at at a different time of their life, and when it happens their organs will naturally respond to the opposite sex. The media also makes it pretty hard to avoid it. It should not be condemned as it's natural, but they should be educated on the topic.

    • before puberty, why is it bad?

    • I wouldn't necessarily say bad. Some kids find out about the concept of masturbation earlier than others before they even know what it's for and are curious about it to the extent they want to try it out. But if they aren't even attracted to the opposite sex at that point, it's just kind of weird, right? An extreme example of why I'd say it's bad is if the kid has sex with someone without even knowing what they're attracted to yet. That doesn't sit right in your head, right? Again... it's best to just educate them on the matter of sex as early as possible. Give them an idea of how things work. Just tell them... "You will know when you're attracted to the opposite sex and at that time I'll educate you about sex so you can stay safe." There's no 1 way to go about this. Nothing is written in black and white in life.

    • of course kids shouldn't have sex, but if they masturbate not to porn then is it really that bad? i feel like messed up porn videos they could find are much worse then them just doing it

  • Yes, I did it at an early age if I remember correctly.

    • me too!

  • When start hormones of them they do it.
    So it's perfectly normal.
Give some advice about sex , protection and private hygiene.

    • yes of course around puberty its normal, i meant before puberty

    • Can you tell me age of child

    • six years

  • Your child masturbates?

    • no a child i babysat

    • It can be rather unnerving, no? How old? Babies have been known to rub their parts. Once children are aware of their own bodies and their privacy, it's not uncommon for them to masturbate. By puberty, surely yes. Back in the 70's and 80's we had a saying, "If it feels good do it." LOL The sexual revolution - you know, free love and sex. And sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. :)

    • the kid is six, when he does it, he often doesn't realize he's doing it until i point it out

  • I masturbate daily since I was six.

  • yes, it's very normal. children do that, before they even know what "masturbation" is.

i know i did things that adults would consider "masturbation" when i was around 6.

    • what did you do that would be considered masturbation?

    • i played around with my penis untill it got hard, because it felt good.

    • i'm quite sure that i did that way before i was 6. though you know that's very long ago. memory isn't so reliable if you think back that far.

  • How young and how is she or he masturbating. ?

    • 6 and just rubbing with hands

    • That's too young for a boy or girl.

    • is it harmful?

  • It is natural for children to masturbate, It's been studied and found fetus' masturbates in the womb. Children sometimes find a toy that "feels good" down there or a pillow.

    • So many people are sexualizing innocent child masturbation on here. It’s maddening having to educate about it.

    • @loves2learn It's natural. We are biological beings with sexual desires even at an early age. No amount of Victorian mindset can alter what we are, and masturbation is a natural part of growing up. Unless a child does it in public settings, it's fine and leave them alone to enjoy the experience.

    • I 100% agree. In fact punishing a child for it can be incredibly damaging. In fact I don’t even see it as sexual at that age. Just body exploration and finding the parts of ones body that feel good when touched.

  • Started when I was around 6

    • I was 11 the first time I had an orgasm... that's when it started for real then

  • I think the age 12 and under might be little to young?

    • Why?

    • @loves2learn Because some of them have yet hit puberty yet may be the girls have already bet they are still in the early age of puberty. I think 12 might be ok but 11 is just way too young.

    • @kellytheman why is puberty a prerequisite for mastrubating? When little kids do it it’s not in a sexual way. It’s part of normal body exploration. It’s especially common in little girls.

  • difficult to say tbh. I don't really know what age one learns these things. I work at schools and i sometimes hear 11 year old lads talking about it, not girls though, not usually

  • I don’t think anyone should unless they’re doing it together with their spouse.

    • I don’t even know how to respond to this. You believe children should be stopped from exploring their bodies. You think spouses separated for a year should abstain from any sexual pleasure?

  • Yes.
My daughter began to rub herself at about 2 years old without being aware of what it was.
Had to establish some rules like not doing it against others or infront of others.

    • Girl's have a tendency to do it very early in life.

    • Same! I was 2 also! Turns out I’m hypersensitive. I wonder if your daughter is too. :)

    • Oversensitive senses just like me. all of them.

  • We all go through puberty, so I can understand then, but anything before that should not be happening.

    • Anything before puberty is not sexual. It’s simple self body exploration.

    • You said Masturbation. Now you’re rationalizing it to fit your narrative. Calling it self body exploration. Oh yeah, it sounds great. It’s still the same action. Someone under 11 isn’t going to go full into masturbation unless they are surrounded around it. Of course their is the exception always. Besides, why do you care so much? Your profile name is love2learn. That’s funny.

    • I care so much because I was an innocent 2 year old who didn’t know what sex was and happened to be born with a hypersensitive clitoris that felt good and would “orgasm” (felt like a release) when I rubbed it with my teddy bear. Masturbatuon has become a sexual term. When little kids do it (especially little girls) it’s simple body exploration. I was not surrounded by it and I was not abused and I resent you saying that.
