Is it normal I haven't done anything sexual and how do I meet people who might want to?

I'm 19 and despite people saying I'm cute or hot or whatever (even though I don't think so) I've never had any sexual encounters of any kind. It's not that I'm not uninterested but I'd also be too shy to ask someone in person.
