Girls, Is it normal to have shaky, wobbly legs after sex?

Yesterday I had sex for the first time in a long time with my new boyfriend. It was great sex, he really looked after me.
But afterwards I felt like I had to pee pretty bad, but when I went to walk to the bathroom my legs were like jelly and he ended up carrying me to the bathroom and dropping me on the toilet. It was funny and a little embarrassing actually. It's never happened to me before.

It's hard to explain. I just felt shaky and wobbly.
Is this normal?
Does anyone else get this?
I don't know why it only just happened now.

  • It has nothing to do with energy exerted during sex but rather the build-up of adrenaline during climax. When we orgasm, tension builds around our muscles, and so when sex is over and the tension is released, it can trigger cramping, shaking or contractions can occur. The Big O. Climax. Coming. Getting off. Ejaculation. We may have different terms for it, but we can agree on one thing: Orgasms are always extraordinary satisfying.
For most girls, the orgasm process is pleasurable but fairly predictable: There is a build up, those toe-curling contractions, followed by a feeling of well-being and relaxation. You might also get a burst of pleasure and then the pain of a splitting headache. Most of these headaches last just a few minutes. It is not totally understood why these headaches happen, but it is believed that it has to do with a spike in adrenaline coursing through the body during sex.
You might cry - you are basking in that post-orgasm glow, and then suddenly tears are streaming down your face. It is not surprising,
You might feel totally euphoric after great sex. Orgasms generally feel pretty great. But, the positive post-sex feelings are particularly heightened. It is not known, why sneezing and having an orgasm are linked for some people, but it might have to do with crossed wires in the autonomic nervous system, which is responsible for reflexes such as sneezing, as well as sexual arousal.
Most common in girls is shaky legs. During climax, tension builds around our muscles, and not just those in the genital area. When sex is over and the tension is released, some cramping, shaking or contractions can occur. If this happens to you, try drinking water and eating something with potassium, like a banana, avocado or yogurt.
Most common Post-orgasmic illness syndrome (POIS) is a rare condition in which men experience flu-like symptoms such as a fever, fatigue and nasal congestion after ejaculation.

    • Damn, girl, that was awesome 🎯
