Yes it’s totally okay and normal. And when I’m in a relationship, I always make sure my partner knows and is okay with it.
I masturbate TO the people in porn when I’m not in a relationship, but when I’m in one, I don’t masturbate to the people acting in the scene. I don’t imagine myself having sex with them but instead, I imagine my partner instead.
I think that’s the determining factor as to whether it constitutes as cheating or not.
If someone masturbates to anyone else but their partner (even celebrities or porn stars), then it’s cheating. If someone is watching porn but masturbating to their partner, then I think that’s totally fine. But of course it’s cheating if you’re partner is not okay with it and you’re still doing it. At least that’s what I think.

Are you kidding? I beg the day my future SO catches me watching porn, and instead of shaming me, takes full advantage of the fact Im cranked up and ready to go for a round of sex with her.

In reality: My former girlfriend hated porn because her body never looked like the girl (s) in the fantasy. It caused her to be insecure about having sex with me and made her more self conscious about her body. Even if what I was watching was realistic. It never changed the fact what I was doing had the potential of hurting our sex life. Which in my mind never did.

I wouldn't exactly call it cheating because what are you cheating on? Never in my wildest dreams would it ever make me want to cheat. It's mere fantasy.

Yeah, it's fine if a boyfriend watches porn. I'd rather know he watches it then have him try to hide it. Watching it together can also be fun.

Porn is mind-poison that gives people a distorted view of how the opposite sex should look and behave. If you want to compete with absurd fantasies, then I guess it is fine to be okay with it.
