Absolutely. I'm in fourth year and I only lost my virginity last year, as did two of my roommates. One of my roommates is still a virgin and she's almost 22. I have several friends back home who are also still waiting to find someone they care about enough - not to be madly in love with, but someone who respects them and wants THEM and not just their bodies. We're in Canada. My first roommate lost it to someone she had a good connection with. He was only in town for one night (we've all known him before, but he moved away) so they slept together then. I was next and I lost it to someone who was becoming a friend to me - we had a good connection, we talked easily and a lot, had fun together. So we were hanging out at his house and it just happened. We stayed friends and talked all summer, and we slept together a few more times. It is possible. I'd even say virgins out number non-vigins to be honest. Sex sells so that info is everywhere. People don't readily admit to being virgins so they don't get much airtime. The desparity makes it seem like everyone is having sex, when it really is just a few

Nope, this is so true. I know more virgins than non-virgins. But people who haven't had sex don't openly discuss it all the time - what's the point in bringing it up? I'm not a virgin, but even I don't discuss sex. I feel like people who haven't had it don't openly discuss it with others because they perhaps fear they will be seen as inexperienced don't understand that aspect of life. That's what a few of my friends have told me.

Yes I do, I have plenty of friends my age that you could consider pretty and they are still virgins. Most want to keep it for the right guy, they don't just want to lose it for the sake of it. For you to really have a chance to lose it to a fellow virgin, don't look for a one-night stand kind of deal as most would prefer to be in a committed relationship and have the guy love and care about them. We remember the person who we lost our virginity to for a very long time, even for life.
