There is new trend in my workplace. Some unmarried girls have put on a "virginity band" and have declared to remain virgin until they get married. These girls have been berating other girls as slutty.
How important is a virginity band or even virginity for a girl?
What if the girl remains unmarried but is careful about selecting her mates? Does this make her chaste or a slut?
It doesn't matter if there are extremes or a middle ground between them, because it doesn't matter.
The word "slut" is a word that was created only by a bunch of asshole, jealous guys. It's total hypocrisy. There is no equivalent term for a guy who sleeps with different women, right? And no "virginity bands" for guys. Why? Cause it's a male dominated culture.
To hell with them and their hypocrisy. Don't let these assholes have their way by influencing how you live your life.
These girls in question are flaunting thier virginity bands out of their free will. Why blame guys? Some guys do wait till marriage for the 1st sex. Please don't label all men or women on the same level. Many girls label other girls as sluts.
I'm not blaming all guys. I'm just saying that some guys created the word. There are plenty of decent guys out there who know that it's shitty. And just as there are some decent guys, there are, at your pointed out, some girls who say those words too. Both the guys who use the word and the girls who also use that word (among other things) help create this whole culture. So I'm not labeling them all the same. I'm just saying there are some guys and some girls, who, by using that word, among other things, help create this culture where people are shamed.
There is middle ground. Having sex doesn't make you a slut and being a virgin doesn't make you special or righteous or anything else. They are choices. If a person is ready to have sex, they should have sex.

The majority of women seem to be sluts from what I have seen. What makes them a slut is having casual sex, and/or flirting with others while being in a relationship.
Staying a virgin can help them find someone good, but if they insist on waiting until marriage, they are less likely to find a good partnership that actually lasts long term. The reason is that many marriages fail now if the people haven't lived together for a while first to see how compatible they really are. You never really know someone until you live together. Not having sex until they have been in an exclusive LTR for 6 months could help them be more successful in a lasting relationship though.
Basically, not having casual sex ever, not dating anyone that has a past of casual sex, and not posting any provocative pictures online, all of that combined could greatly increase a person's chances of having a successful LTR.

That's a little crap out there doing I can tell you from my own personal experience I've seduced many a good girls in my day and if you put the right level of mental stimulus yearning long and desire inside their minds yeah you can break anybody's mold.
In my experience there are three kinds of girls
1. Girls that have no sexual desires or hardly any
2. Girls that have a lot of sexual desires and needs but aren’t out spoken about them.
3. Girls that have a lot of sexual desires and needs and are open about them.
From a man’s perspective I respect women who are honest about their sexual needs, it shows confidence and it shows I can trust them. Cause they’re being honest about a small thing, they’ll thus be honest about more serious things
