  • Yeah they exist. Technology such as videogames, internet/accessability to online porn and rising standards of living is contributing to it. Japan is one of the greater examples for sure.

    The internet has caused people to be more socially awkward in real life and less likely to step outside and be social. There's an endless amount of entertainment that gives you a quick dopamine rush from a simple click. Videogames, porn, etc

    It doesn't help that the cost of living is going up and work culture is awful (white collar). I'm specifically talking about Japan and Korea, which have rapidly declining birth rates because people are dying and/or depressed from overwork and don't have time or money to raise kids.

  • In many countries a lot of people including both men and women remain virgin until they get married. But people usually get married before 30 there so I don't know for sure. What I do know is that in my country a significant number of people are not upholding the norm anymore.
