It’s understandable that you would shut down or not put a maximum effort into something that you weren’t very sure was going anywhere. I don’t see it on there that you have a subjective preference everybody on earth has some differences. I’ve talked another post other places about how actually being in a relationship or even better actually being married is going to give you a much better and more fulfilling sex life. Trust is there, emotional investment is there, and partner knowledge is there. Without those, sex is mechanical and cold. A drive through (pun intended) lunch at McDonald’s when you could be having Thanksgiving dinner with someone you love and who loves you back every time.

Hmm probably also like in the past I’ve noticed if there’s trust issues with the person it really takes a toll on my sexual relationship with the person as well. Like I just kinda shit down honestly. Also with just hookups I find myself not putting my all into sex cause deep down I don’t know if this person is a a hole or not lol. Which 99% of the time is those situations that’s the case. Like I guess it’s not all only physical for me I don’t know if that’s weird 😅
