Well yes, obviously. If it's not fair, it's wrong. And if it's all about you, and not in equal parts about you AND him, then how is that fair? That does not mean you should do things you're really uncomfortable doing though.

I don't think you're "supposed" to compromise, but I think you should, and need to reciprocate. It's not about compromising. It's about being understanding and reciprocating.
If my partner initiates oral sex on me, I would do the same, or the other way around, but if he wanted to do anal and I weigh the risks and benefits, determined that it's only going to benefit him but not me, then I'm going to say no to it (complications of receiving anal sex, such as anal cut, anal fissure, anal prolapse, etc. especially if he is not knowledgeable nor skilled about this) And you know what? If he couldn't be understanding and wanted to force me to do anal sex, or ended up going out and cheating on me, then he's not worth it and does not deserve me.
