Is it wrong to wish my boyfriend was a bit more masculine?

My boyfriend and I are together 6 months and love each other, he’s tall dark and handsome, a bit geeky and isn’t a really macho masculine man but since I met him I was really into him.
Sometimes he isn’t as manly as other men, he’s introverted, a bit shy, and more caring and gentle I suppose so maybe that’s why, and I feel bad for worrying that he isn’t as masculine and maybe I’d prefer him to be?
We are really attracted to each other though and everything in that department is great, he always makes sure I’m happy and worries more about my needs than his own a lot of the time, but there’s just that tiny voice in my head that I wish he was a bit more manly I guess... any thoughts and is it wrong I feel this way?

  • Complement him when he does or acts "more masculine" Maybe drop some subtle hints. Have you told him what you like with sex? Tell him he is good in bed. How is your sex life with him?

  • it is not wrong

  • No, but yes.

  • That's something good to hope for.

  • if you love him, love him for who he is, and do not try to mold him into the image you want him to be. you will not like the changes

    • I don’t want him to change, he’s just more gentle than I’m used to I suppose that’s all

    • then love him for that

  • Give him time and make him be confident in him, show him you love him... You will get there

  • Not at all. Chances are pretty high that he wishes you were more feminine.

  • what about sexually? is he masculine in that department?

    • Yeah I think so, we are both similar personality so neither of us take the lead but I like it when he does, and he has grown more dominant that way which I like

    • then you don't have to worry too much, what things you don't find masculine about him? the way he dress, the way he talks, the shows he watch? ...

    • Hmm I think it’s sometimes his mannerisms/the way he walks or when he plays sports because he’s quite tall and not muscular
