That depends on the point of view. My wife didn't like me watching porn because she felt it as if I were cheating on her, as if she wasn't good enough, which was nonsense of course because we had very regularly intimate satisfying contact. But that's how she nevertheless felt about it.
From my side I never felt like cheating on my wife. Sure I was watching videos of girls having fun, and sure I jerked to those videos. I still do that by the way. One could call that sexual curiosity. At least there's no risk of getting an STD that way ;0)

I will say this. If you are in a physical relationship and you find yourself with the need to get off without having your partner available to you for that, there’s definitely something wrong with the relationship.
Masturbation is pleasantly and comfortably stimulating oneself whilst thinking and fantasizing , which will eventually lead towards conclusions or establishments of some preferences. I think if you have a good guide with you then you will establish good preferences , and if you have a bad guide then you will establish abusive preferences.
If you have a misunderstanding on what cheating is, it's probably because boundaries were never discussed and/or assumed. I'd even argue poly relationships probably talk about boundaries more so than some mono couples.
I agree. Couples never discuss whether or not masturbating is this or that or whatever. They tend to ignore these types of conversations until its too late and one gets offended when it happens. Sad really.

@Wubs3000 I am sure after a few drinks once you are dating you ask about these things like porn, sex, favorite positions, fantasies, etc... if the woman is vanilla and is offended in discussing then you have your red flag right there. Its up to the guy now to be insecure and feel bad or guilty or find someone who is more uninhibited like themselves.

Depends on who is doing the considering. My cousin had a huge falling out with his girlfriend after she found him looking at porn. It was made much worse by them both being highly dysfunctional people and they wound up damaging each other's personal property in retaliation and it spiraled down from there.
On the other hand, some people don't seem to care or just accept it.
