As far as I understand,

Bi = Attracted to two or more genders
Pan = Gender is not relevant for attraction

So practically the nuance is subtle and there's not always too much of a difference in who you're attracted to, but there's still a tiny difference in that if you're pan, you don't consider gender at all as a factor, while if you're bi, you're attracted to people of one of the genders you're attracted to.

Important but: Some people who fit this definition of pan self-identify as bi, because traditionally these two have been mixed up - and THAT'S OKAY. The most important factor in determining one's sexual orientation is how the person themselves actually feel.

I'm pretty sure it is. I mean, they'll go for trans, and pre-ops and post-ops, and all kinds of alternative sexual folks. in sexuality I think there's a lot more than I like guy, gurl, or both. Now, ask a similar question about today's genderism issues and I'd be singing a different tune.

It isn't just bisexual. Bi means two, male and female. Pansexual is everything else like trans and non binary. Not all bi people are will to date trans people. Those that have are pansexual.
