  • Sure, on a few conditions:

-Everything in moderation. You can become addicted to (literally) anything these days. Porn is no different. Be aware of where you're at, and if it's taking over your life, it's time to make some changes.

-Don't take porn as a real-life standard of sex, intimacy, and physical standards. These models' jobs are literally to stay as attractive as possible for as long as possible, and to have sex on camera (but when the cameras are off, it's basically just another film set).
Expecting someone to be just like a porn star in bed would be like expecting someone who enjoys cooking to be like Gordon Ramsay, or demanding that a person who enjoys occasional karaoke to sing like Whitney Houston. Don't compare them to someone who LITERALLY does it for a living.

-Don't forget your partner (if you have one). If you find you are preferring porn to their company, you need to work on your relationship and spend more time working it out.

    It's alllllllll about balance, dude.

  • I wouldn't go so far to classify it as "healthy" but it's largely normal and harmless until it either passes into addiction or the porn in question contains illegal content.

  • It is harmless unless you make a big deal out of it. People who campaign for the ban of porn probably have some control issues themselves if they can't just view it the way it's supposed to be viewed - as a quick and easy method of scratching an itch. They shouldn't project their own problems to the rest of society.

  • I don't watch "hard core" porn. I almost never watch anything pornographic anyway, but when I do watch it is just the strip tease videos on PlayboyPlus.

I don't want to watch some mutant freak guy with a 12 inch dick ramming it up some whore's ass, or cumming in her face.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • As per my knowledge it has more negative sides then positive sides so I avoid watching nowadays.

  • Moderation. But it's bad if it becomes addictive.

  • I think we all know it isn't...

  • No, it is not.

  • The simple answer is no.

  • It gives very wrong ideas about sex and women (and about penis size!)

  • It's all fake, and that's the biggest problem. It does not reflect real man-woman romantic sexual relationships. At all. So people get really confused about what is real and what is not. And they show all manner of depraved things which also is not normal.
And occasional session to get your jollies is one thing, but a steady diet is simply deleterious to your well being and your sex life. A porn-addiction is almost as bad as a drug addiction and will ruin a healthy man-woman relationship.

  • some in moderation

  • I don't think so. I don't like watching it.

  • Depends what you consider healthy. It doesn't harm you or anyone and it gives relief. If done too much in a short amount of time it could leave you in the hospital. Other than that your good.

  • Depends on how it's used

  • No, it isn't.

  • better to stay away from it

  • No..

  • I don't think its healthy. It can become an addiction and people tend to fantasize or think that sex should be what porn portrays

  • no its not

  • Not particularly. But being deprived of it, as most people's only reliable form of sexual relief, is even more unhealthy.
