  • It's not such a simple answer. Love and sex are entirely separate entities (either can exist entirely on their own). That being said, good sex is for the most part a mental activity, not a physical one (if you disagree, you are doing it wrong).

    Given that the mind is the sexiest part of a human, it should be clear that love can play a role in enhancing sexual experiences. However, so can blindfolds, viabrators, and risqué scenery.

    If there is a correlation between love and good sex, I don't think it is a direct one. A couple could be madly in love yet be entirely depraved of sexual satisfaction, and no doubt a hired professional could easily take care of either of them -love not included.

    I think it would be interesting to ask if good sex makes love stronger? Again, the answer is not a simple one. Though one could reasonably say "yes."

    There are so many intricacies to love and sex, it will never be a simple yes or no answer. In fact, we should pay more attention to how we pose questions to avoid inadvertently over-simplifying the answers.

  • Not necessarily, there are lot of factors. I would say if you're in love the sex isn't self serving. You want your partner to enjoy it as much if not more then yourself so you make more of an effort to please them. This can happen with complete strangers or after years of marriage. When you are in love you take the time to learn what your partner likes and watching them enjoy it is all part of the fun!
