Yes! If I wanted just a friend and that’s it, then I’d stay single and not get into a relationship in the first place.

Yes. But its not the only important thing. Long distance relationships are hard. Trust is the most important then the sex.

It is for me but not my partner. Which isn’t really the norm I guess given our genders. I just equate it with intimacy and I think it has different meanings and levels of importance for different people

That depends on the relationship and those involved in the relationship. To me, a relationship without it could still work, but I'd feel unwanted if we were used to it and she decided to stop and not do it for months to years.

Is it? Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on what the needs are for both people. Being a naval aviator, I can forgo sex for a long time, so I don't really care, if my partner would not be hyperactive.
That said, this line of work is not relationship friendly. But I have a good friends with benefits, so when we can meet, it's fun and games.

It’s incidental of a healthy relationship. If you’re not having sex better have a good reason.

Sex is really important in a relationship, but it's NOT the MOST IMPORTANT thing!
