Is sexting between two friends prelude for physical thing or it can stay just "innocent" fun?

If a guy tells you that he likes everything about you, that you are thrilling and exciting and that draw him to you in the first place when he befriended you (we're friends for six years and never sexted until now)

Superb Opinion

  • Sexting can remain just sexting, but often the realization of what the other likes, as well as your intimacy in discussing those things, will lead to actually having sex if you actually know each other irl. If you have become friends only online, then it is easier to enjoy the searing without actually having sex. Exchanging nudes adds to the enjoyment, and also adds to a stronger pull to actually have sex if you know each other irl.
It can also increase your ease in discussing things other than sexting.

    • We know eac hother in real life. We got really close over these six years. There was always some kind of tension felt between us, but we never spoke about it until now. Now we said how we feel about eachother. And sexting came so naturally. We did it yesterday and today we met (in public) and it was so exciting and natural, no awqwardness.

    • Since you are happy, it is good for you. Two questions for you: did you exchange nudes, and are you having sex now?

    • Yes we exchanged nudes and no we're not having sex. It started this week, by me teasing him with some provokative selfies, but me being fully dressed. He said he liked me teasing him. Next day he sent back that picture and said: "give me more"

  • It can stay innocent fun. I've done that with a girl friend of mine and we just stayed friends.
