They talk about not being interested in doing anything in real but sometimes they talk in details about how they want their first time to be.

Do you think eventually they would do it?

The potential is there and if circumstances were just right (such as nobody else around and maybe after a few drinks...) but I will say from personal experience that it is possible to not go further.

For example, I had something going on similar to what you described with a female friend (both of us married, friends with spouses etc) and after awhile we decided it was best to stop as the desire was getting to a point that if given the opportunity, we might actually do it. And while I have no doubt it would have been awesome, the resulting relationship carnage would have been bad for everyone.

She's already cheating by sexting. So it doesn't even really matter if she'd go through with it. She's guilty already. She's already a cheater. Why would she suddenly develop a conscience. If she's ok with going behind this guys back and sexting with her friend, then sure... I'd assume she'd go behind his back and go through with it. She's selfish, she's disloyal, and yea, that's exactly the kind of person who cheats. So I guess it's a matter of an untrustworthy woman is untrustworthy. Pretty simple actually.
