  • The short answer is YES.

The detailed answer is as follows: women have a gland called the Skene's gland that can produce a small amount of clear fluid, that can sometimes be expelled if a woman has a strong orgasm. We're talking about tiny little spritz - the gland can usually hold about half a teaspoon of liquid. This isn't super common, but some women do this. Capturing it on camera (for porn, or even just for scientific study) is very difficult, though, because there just isn't much fluid, it's clear, and at most you get a 4-6" little spray.

Then came a porn star named Cytheria in the mid-90s. She did something that was not completely unheard of, but was mostly undocumented up to that point: she would squirt big sprays of pee when she would have a strong orgasm (this is called "female urinary orgasmic incontinence"). This wasn't a tiny little spritz, but a big, thick fountain of liquid. And she was not ashamed of it and didn't insist producers destroy the footage, as probably happened if any other porn stars did it. It was also quite easy to capture on camera - that kind of liquid volume wasn't hard to film.

If you know anything about porn, you'll know that porn producers are always looking for something new and unique that will help sell product, and this was no exception. Producers quickly called this "squirting" and started using that word, along with her name and image, on most titles featuring her. And her videos sold well. Within a few years, "squirting" became something that was widely known, though it was still rarely seen in porn aside from Cytheria for another decade. But by the 2000s, there were a couple of other girls who did this (peed during orgasm) and once again, porn producers started tagging these scenes with the term "squirt" and that "fetish" just exploded. Suddenly even the most mainstream women were asking about squirting, and should they or shouldn't they, and how to learn to do it, and so on.

Make no mistake: all instances of this you see in porn is pee, and girls who do this intentionally start drinking water hours before their scenes, and pee a lot, to dilute their urine, so that they have lots of clear pee by the time their scenes roll around. Like lots of prep work, they don't show this, anymore than they show stunt wires for fight scenes, but it's a normal thing that happens (just like enemas and "warming up" off-camera with lube and toys before anal scenes). Porn only wants what their cameras can see and what helps sell their product - they don't care about the integrity or original meanings of words. They created the "squirting" fetish and they happily cash the checks, but what they're showing you is pee.

  • Gynecologist Dr. Charlotte Elder says while the research is not completely conclusive, “it's probably fluid from a gland that's similar to a prostate, that potentially collects in the bladder and then gets expelled.” It's not pee but it will mix with whatever urine is in the bladder at the time. • No. It's partially pee sometimes. But it's a fluid from the Scenes (that may be misspelled) glands.

  • Possibly. That is still being argued. But regardless of what it is, the female that squirts feels inhibited if she has to avoid that. If squirting is something you do, just have protective (rubber) sheet on the bed and let it happen. You will enjoy the feeling much more that way. And most guys are perfectly happy with you doing that.

  • Pee and cum mixed I think I actually like it when I'm in a relationship is she sitting on me

  • Not entirely. It is almost totally pee but can contain small amounts of vaginal mucus and the mysterious "periurethral fluid" that is expelled during orgasm and has the consistency of semen. Ignore the urban legends.

  • I call it Vaginal Secretions and If I'm fingering a girl I will tell her
not to worry, let it flow all over the place, I want her to have a
    beautiful orgasm

  • Nope! It comes from the same hole (as far as I know) but, it's a different liquid. Although I've never had the fortune to try some, I'm told it has a different flavour according to which week of your period you're on. I don't remember exactly what they are but I think it goes something like this:
    The week of = salty
    2nd week = sour
    3rd week = tangy
The week before = SUPER sweet!!! Sweeter than anything you've ever tasted before!!

  • If I remember correctly, it's mostly pee

  • Technically yes. Which is exactly why before it happens, she’ll feel like she has to pee. And only women that absolutely love the man that’s fucking them and feel 100% comfortable with the guy will they let it go

  • there's conflicting information about this. some sources say it comes from vaginal glands, some say those glands can't possibly produce such masses of liquid. anyway: if you see squirting in porn, it's 50% water that they pushed in before the scene or straight up pee.

  • Yeah it is but it's clean urine

  • Not at all

  • NO, although since it passes through the bladder it has a lot of the chemical components of urine. It is not 100% chemically identical to urine though.

  • What you see in porn in my opinion is definitely pee. As for squirting out of porn. The jury seems to have mixed feelings.

  • Is a guys cum just pee? No of course not.

  • Yep it is

  • I have always wondered this.

  • Some say yes some say no

  • yes it is
