Is the ban on sex outside of marriage in Indonesia a law made to force men to marry?

…marriage is Submission.

Indonesia bans sex outside of marriage in a new penal code approved by parliament.

It is a kind of "legal" guarantee that the woman has so that the man only produces for her; the intention is to limit the procreative instinct of man.

This is also how, in case of an unwanted pregnancy, the woman can evaluate the situation and decide whether or not to kill the child, but the man does not have that power of decision, being under the "legal" framework once again subjected to the woman.

  • In the old days women withheld sex until marriage as sex lead to pregnancy, not so since the invention of the pill in 60s. This way a man knew after marriage for certain that 9 months later any child was his. People usually were waiting for marriage before sex but nature won so they had to marry. Sounds like Indonesia is trying to put the genie back in the bottle.

  • That's going to go very badly. It's just an excuse to selectively persecute people.

  • Actually it sounds like a patriarchal law to me. But the man can always masturbate if he doesn’t wanna get married. Orgasm’s the same in the end.

  • I think it is a bunch of B. S. made by a male government.

  • Do you really think they are going to enforce this law on "men"?

    • Men are the main victims of stoning, especially given for the crime of adultery, which, despite being a rare practice, continues to be something that is punished more in men.

    • Doesn't sound like a Muslim country

    • You don't know Islam well, women are not oppressed anywhere in the world and it is curious that you use the example of an isolated case and incidentally create the myth that in the Middle East they are stoned for not wearing a cloth.
