i am gay and it's the best life (at the moment) and i could never imagine being straight. i think i would be so miserable if i was straight.

I thought I was a cis straight for the longest time. Thanks for nothing, Catholic school and family.

I'm now living openly out as a bisexual, and am gender questioning and leaning non-binary.

My life is so much better now. I'm literally living my dream, and I'm only 4 months out from breaking it off with my cishet white boy failure to launch ex-fiancé.

Now I know I'm never dating cishet boys - especially not white ones - and I can look forward of a life with women, enbies, and queer guys. Much more fun, much more in common, much more lived experience.

This last June was one of my first Prides out and single. It was super fun. Made a new friend, discovered more local Queens and Kings.

Plus now I feel like I'm finally starting to heal, not just from childhood abuse but from having to pretend not to be who I am.

I'm queer and loving every second.

Thank you! So far it's been great and my LGBTQ+ circles are expanding every year. I have more queer friends than straight now and I couldn't be happier. More prides and frequent gay bar and drag shows are certainly in my future. Tbh I kinda wanna just get out for sapphic hookups, but I also feel like 4mo out from a breakup is a little soon. 😅

No, I've just dated two cishet white men and I want to experience PoC love as a woman of colour. It's like trying a new food. I know what white bread tastes like, I just wanna try something new instead of being stuck with default flavour.

Trust me, feeling comfortable with who you are is important to truly feeling free. If you can't be comfortable with who you are, you aren't who you want to be.

My father happily accepts me, so does my mum. my nan also accepts me and has even gone to pride with me. i also prefer guys with smooth buttholes. and just to let you know not all gay guys like asses
