Guys, Is this a good reason to keep it a secret from a parent?

This will effect the daughter/son adversely when older.

And underage , I presume 16 or under , and the man to be above 35 as much older.
This is a legal offence as underage kids cannot give consent.
And there's a high chance that the man had/will have a lot of other cases.
Similarly for the child.
A normal father would normally trip and go on a rampage, depending on bonding.
If there's a chance of the mom making this the last time , it has happened with the kid (which is difficult) and then in time let the father know somehow.

Both the kids will turn to be sex addict and because sex is something most people get after investing in a relationship etc, Easy sex will make those kids do stuff that the parents will hate in the future. Statistically there is a strong correlation between rapists and underage sex.

IF that is what the daughter really wants, then let it be. If no on egets sick or regnant from it, then leave it alone Even if the man were to be arrested for it, f the victim will not cooperate, s often happens with stautory situations, then it goes no where. It may just be the girl showing herself as being desireable for some reason of ego or such. I think that the older man is crazy to risk this, s it is an illegal act, but that is a separate issue.

Underage with a much older is enough said for a statutory rape trial and likely conviction and if a parent is keeping it a secret she/he is just as guilty as the " much older man" . Period! The courts don't care if momma consents ; the law is the law and momma could go to prison!
