Neither true nor false really. While fuel injection is more efficient than carburetors, and can deliver more power, a blower is FAR better. However, a blower (supercharger) combined WITH fuel injection is both more fuel efficient AND creates more horsepower! But somehow I don’t think you were talking about increasing the horsepower of internal combustion engines?

  I honestly don’t know if that was a parody of a real Beach Boy’s song. But is it completely sad that I understood what EVERY single auto part mentioned in the song is (and does), or does that just make me “cool”? LOL 😂

  Really? Oh wow, they REALLY had some weird songs in the sixties. I just cannot believe that there is a REAL song by a VERY popular group that mentions “dual quads” meaning the car has TWO 4-barrel carburetors, and that also mentions the “pressure plate” which is the part of the clutch assembly that uses powerful springs to press the the actual clutch-disk into the flywheel, and engages to lock the transmission and the engine together! At a time when most groups were singing about drugs, falling in love, “flower power”, and anti-war anthems, The Beach Boys were singing about auto parts! LOL 😂 Thank you so much for sharing this, I can’t wait to play this for my grandfather, just to see if he remembers it?

  @summiter Wow, thank you VERY much.☺️ I don’t think I’ve ever been called “cool” before. Guys usually just comment about my looks, or if they are rude they comment about very specific body parts I have. Whereas girls usually comment about my niceness, or that I’m “sweet”. I’ll admit that I have often wanted to be thought of as cool, but being a near straight “A” student, I’m usually just thought of as the nerdy type. You definitely made my day, thank you. As for the sixties… yeah, it really does seem like it would have been an interesting time to be young (unless you were a male between 18 and 30) then it was off to war! My grandpa was in the Navy during Vietnam, he was on a boat that patrolled the rivers. But the music was just SO good (I love old music) especially stuff from the sixties, (except the auto-parts songs), and of course the eighties. The eighties stuff is kinda my favorite music, and it’s all my parents play at home of in the car! I think they believe that artists stopped making music in 1990!

  I agree with you... sometimes I listen to some classic rock from the 70's it is way different then what I grew up with. I like your outlook on life. Keep up the good grades, have fun and enjoy life:)

I obviously have many really great guys following me on here, but I mean overall here on GaG, decent men “seem” to be the exception rather than the rule. I would love it if you to followed me, I’ll do the same. A blower on an engine is very likely to eventually damage it. Fuel injection is better. Blow jobs are better than being blown up.

  @msc545 I have a supercharger on my car. Maybe an old skool blower would damage an engine but today's cars are well designed and have intercoolers and that. They are built to last a bit longer.

  Is it a turbo (exhaust driven) or a real supercharger (belt driven off crankshaft) ?

  @ msc545 It's a real supercharger on my Challenger. Has the intercooler and everything. Very reliable, enough that the car has it covered under the warranty.

I remember that statement in the 80s on a shirt and it was “fuel injection is great but I’d rather be blown” , obviously talking about a car engine for racing but it is a nice play on words for a blow job
