Well we obviously don't get a boner, but blood moves to this area and the lips will swell some and for some of us our clit becomes very prominent (I guess like a tiny boner) and exposes itself more from the hood. We also will usually begin to excrete lube in our vagina in anticipation of the forthcoming penis.

You know it's funny I asked this same question on R/Reddit and got MANY MANY more responses from girls and women and almost 2/3 of the women either described it as an Itch an Ache and almost every one of them said that their vaginas "felt empty as well that they just (for lack of a better term) needed to be "filled" or needing some kind of pressure inside of them that they could grab and squeeze on to. Its also kind of funny because as a guy we want something to "Squeeze " on the outside, we want pressure on the outside by sticking our dongs into something so it can be squeezed on lol.
