Likely alternate couples in The Big Bang Theory

Raj x Bernadette - Given that Bernadette said previously that Raj was a cutie and Raj obviously has a thing for her, this is perhaps the most straightforward choice for likely alternate couples. Bernadette mentioned she kinda likes a sexually inexperienced guy who she could teach a thing or two to, and considering she is fine with Howard's premature ejaculation, the occasional one from Raj wouldn't be a game ender (like the one he had with Penny).

Howard x Amy - A less obviously choice is Howard and Amy. Although it is possible she would start off with a much more neutral view of him if she hadn't been influenced by Penny and Sheldon. Their shared love for Neil Diamond could spark a passion in them, as both of them are prone to go a little crazy with excitement about things they like. It could start as a spur of the moment type of craze, and Amy could finally get the horny boyfriend who will treat her to sex like she desperately needs. Also, seemingly unlike Bernadette (except for a Cinderella dress) Amy is willing to dress up and do sexy roleplay.

Sheldon x Penny - While at first this seems like a ludicrous pairing, consider that they both come from rural 'country' backgrounds, and with time Sheldon has become almost fond of her. I can imagine Penny getting so sexually frustrated that one night she jumps on top of Sheldon and makes him a man, which breaks down his qualms about sex with her in the future. And Penny will probably enjoy it since Sheldon likely has the biggest dick of the main group of characters, considering his height and what we know about the other guys, plus how he described his own genitals. I could see these two reaching back to their country roots and 'playing the old married couple'.

Leonard the playboy - Despite all the jokes about him, Leonard is the one who has had the most romantic partners that could have gone the distance. But in this scenario, he's the playboy instead of season one Howard. He would likely be more successful too since he's not as 'quirky' as Howard is.
