Making out vs. Just kissing?

Okay this sounds dumb, but what is the difference between making out and just plain kissing?

  • A kiss could just be a quick peck on the lips or on the cheek. And it doesn't have to be passionate or have a sensual feel to it. It can be about endearment and more about love.

However, a sensual, sexual, passionate, long, wet, intense, make-out session. Well, it just about makes you melt and it I would say always leads to lustful thoughts. Love may be involved, but LUST is the key feature here.

  • You kiss your mum. You make out with a partner. You can kiss your partner (a quick goodbye or a similar gesture) but it's not as intimate as making out.

I'd argue the light kiss you give a partner isn't always making out but if it's anything more then you give your mum it's more then a kiss. Lots of middle ground on what the wording can mean.

  • Making out involves with a lot more contact with two people. Just imagine a kiss on the cheek, then making out with your partner on the couch. It's a big difference, making out can usually lead to more. I know for me it does :)

  • 1 kiss lasts like 1 second. Making out is long kisses, open mouth kisses, using your tongue, so on and so on.

  • I think when people say "making out", they mean getting involved a bit more than just simple kissing. Somewhere between first base and third base.

  • No..

  • Making out -is long kissing with using some tongue

Kissing- Is more of a light kissing on the lips nothing more

  • I prefer snuggles.

  • kiss is kiss and making out is more than kiss.

  • It's deeper and more passionate and usually the guys hands are everywhere when making out
