This is a follow up to this take I wrote.
Men and women are similar in which we are both humans but we are also much more different. Each new discovery uncovers more biological differences than similarities. Perhaps one of the most notable differences between men and women has to do with sex.
This has to do with biology not “social programming” and yes I know each person is unique but biology is a lot different than sociology.
1.)Men are visual creatures: Let’s first address the elephant in the room. Men are very visual when it comes to physical attraction, in fact some people say that physical attraction is the result of being visual. There’s a reason why partially clothed women are used for marketing purposes and not partially clothed men. Partially clothed men do nothing for women, while partially clothed women turn men on.
2.)Partialism is a male behavior, not so much a female behavior: Partialism is a type of sexual behavior attributed to finding a specific body part that isn’t the genitals to be sexually appealing. For example, Alvinophilia(navel partialism) and Pygophilia(buttocks partialism) are mostly male behaviors. It’s mostly men who find women’s navels and butts to be sexually appealing but not vice versa. Have you ever heard of a woman wanting to see a man’s navel or butt due to sexual arousal? I never have. The list goes on and on. Partialism is predominantly a male behavior even though there are very few women who do have partialism, but they are exceptions.
Theory about alvinophilia(navel partialism): Some people believe the reason why some males find the female navel to attractive is because the navel subconsciously reminds them of a vagina. This theory is further supported by the coincidental occurrence that many women who have navel partialism are either bisexual or lesbian.
3.)men are kinkier: Kink behavior is common amongst both males and females but men are almost always the kinkier ones. While most women’s kinks are the basics(bdsm, oral,wearing lingerie and wearing leather) men have a wider range of kinks(corduroy, velvet, smelling female flatulence, navel play, role play etc.) For example, a woman wearing corduroy pants will instantly turn on straight and bisexual men who have corduroy kinks.
4.) women get sexually aroused by sound: Women primarily get turned on by sound. Some things that turn women on are the sound of a manly voice, a man singing and a man saying dirty things. Yes, there are women who claim they are “very visual” when it comes to attraction but in reality they are only referring to it in a non sexual aesthetic manner, like looking at a artwork. Hence many women admitting they are not as visual. There are some women who are truly visual but they are only exceptions.
5.)Men subconsciously search for fertility: Another reason why men are visual is because men search for signs of fertility(youthfulness, big butt, curvy body etc.) Almost all of the things men find attractive in women have to do with fertility.
Theory on nurturing characteristics: Men also search for signs of a nurturer. Such as a woman who can defend herself, in the animal kingdom a mother will defend her offspring by any means necessary. This could be why guys find it hot whenever they see a woman practicing martial arts and female gun enthusiasts. Other signs of a good nurturer are compassion and the ability to care.
6.)Women are subconsciously attracted to signs of power(the ability to provide and protect): There’s a reason why women are attracted to male celebrities, wealthy men, soldiers, police officers, firefighters, athletes and confident men. They all show signs of dominance and power. For example, look at how many women go crazy for men like Liam Hemsworth(actor) and Todd Howard(video game developer). Look at open weight full contact sports, whenever a smaller competitor triumphs over a larger competitor, many women will go crazy for that smaller competitor because it’s a sign that he is able to be a good protector. While women also go crazy for wealthy men because their wealth implies they can provide. All of these types of men are “Chick magnets”.
Even though most women aren’t “as” visual when it comes to attraction, they still check out men’s physical attributes for signs of power, such as strong hands, muscular arms, broad shoulders, broad chests, masculine faces(strong jawline, hollow cheeks, male dimorphism etc) but it doesn’t mean women are sexually turned on by the sight of the male body but rather by what the man can do with his body.
Theory on women liking men’s hands: Women may like hands for two subconscious reasons, one is that a man’s hands are what provides and protects. The second reason could be that the fingers remind women of penises.
7.)Men are biologically programmed with a urge to spread their seed: Another reason why men are visual is because men have a primal urge to spread their seed. It also explains why men have higher libido. This urge is absent in women. Men compete with other guys to impress specific women.
8.) Women want the very best they can get: Instead of having the urge to spread seeds, women wait for the best protector and provider to come along and impress her. This behavior can be seen amongst many wild beasts in which the males will wrestle with each other to show dominance and attract a female mate. Human females wait for a man who has a good personality, is financially stable(or wealthy) and can protect himself. This is a possible reason why women rarely make the first move and why women need a emotional connection to find a man attractive. Ever notice that this is more common
than this? Only a few women who are often called Amazons want this.
9.) peculiar porn habits: People often question the sexuality of women who confess to watching lesbian porn for obvious reasons.However, studies have shown that women get turned on by erotic imagery in general, it doesn’t matter who or what is taking part in sexual activity, the brain activity of the woman reacts the same way. Thus why some people believe that women’s sexuality is more “fluid” than men’s. People often ask, “why do straight men watch straight porn knowing there is a male?” The answers vary but the main answers are that men don’t focus on the man, they focus on the women, while other guys say that they imagine themselves in place of the man involved. I personally don’t watch porn, it never fascinated me. The stuff I’m into isn’t even considered porn.
10.) Women have stronger orgasms: While men are kinkier, women are known for having far more intense orgasms, which are the result of women being able to hand multiple/full body orgasms per session. Men only have one orgasm per session which still feels amazing. However, men can still learn how to have multiple/full body orgasms. It just takes practice.
Summary: While both men and women do experience sexual arousal, it’s a bit different for both sexes. Men are turned on visuals and the ability to nurture, while women are turned on by the ability to protect and provide. Men have a wider range of kinks than women but women still have stronger orgasms. Men have a urge to spread their seed, while women wait for the best. Women on average have a more fluid sexuality while on average, men have a fixed sexuality hence the peculiar porn interests.
The above regarding Males and females can be explained through a biological perspective which is why men and women shouldn’t be forced to change their behaviors. Men and women should just embrace who they are.
