yes some guys do get random boners but it stops being random when it's every time he hangs out with you. At least for me if I'm walking around I need something to turn me on before i get hard. Is it a problem for you? Do you want to be more than friends?
I don't see him like that at all. I guess I'm indenial about him being attracted to me. He has never denied it when people ask if we're dating or when they say we make a cute couple he stays quiet.

When a guy is around a female friend, he may get a boner, just from looking at her as she is in a certain position, or talking about something that is somehow arousing, etc. That doesn't mean he wants in her pants. It's just a normal male reaction to certain stimuli, and it doesn't need to be intended stimuli. He can still see you a friend, but he's also a man. What makes things different in what you describe, is that he is 'always getting boners'. Occasionally getting a boner is one thing, but very frequently is another. He is apparently physically attracted to you, and is beyond being just a friend. Bottom line. If a male friend occasionally gets a boner around you, it doesn't mean much. If he gets a lot of boners, he looks at you as more than a friend.

Like if you spent all your time around someone who you thought was really attractive and you COULDN'T kiss them or even bring up the idea, wouldn't you want to just grab them sometimes? Just to hold you over? I think it's probably harmless and you really shouldn't think that much of it. It sounds like you keep the perfect distance from him where you can both be satisfied with the relationship you have. Yeah I never point it out but I guess sometimes it gets pretty hard that it bothers him. He tries hiding it while we're talking face to face or gives up and puts a jacket on top of it.
I don't know what to think about that. But every time I met with a girlfriend, if she had hard nipples, i'm leaning towards compliment. But, that can also be very awkward in either situation. In public, that could be embarrassing. You can't exactly turn that off... I would confront him with it and say that it makes you uncomfortable.

Nope I don't. He knows I don't see him like that. One time i was fixing my jacket around my waist and I looked up to see him looking at me. He was drunk and he has said he gets touchy when he's drunk so that was probably the reason why.
Guys can also see something sexual in almost any situation, too... plus, being drunk would have helped (or warped) his perception of reality, too...

Yes, but if it's happening regularly when he's with you then it's highly likely that it isn't random in this instance. BUT this does not necessarily mean that he thinks any less of you or even that he wants to sleep with you.

People always say "guys get random boners"... but if I look at myself, boners without any visual or physical stimulation or any special thoughts are extremely rare. Yes they can happen, but if they happen regularly when he's around you then I'd assume that it might have something to do with you. in my opinion more likely than just random boners
