"Marriage is all about sex" that is a statement I saw here. Do you agree with it?

For me marriage is just we are having a legal agreement to enforce an agreement we already made verbally and emotionally. It is not about sex, it is achieving a better life together, the same time raising our next generation as considerate parents. Also having children is a choice. That statement is like marriage is a license to have sex.

  • Dont agree with it being about sex, it has legal ramifications which are beneficial and also has the emotional side of contracting a commitment.
Sex is sex really... if someone wanted that, they dont need to get married if they didn't want to

    • But there are people who think getting married is having license to sex

    • And that is the problem, people think and therefore believe it is... it is one of the biggest problems with sexual abuse in relationships... but it will take more than a person saying otherwise to change the mind of generation of teachings

    • We can;t have normal life anymore. Nowadays world/ life is too simple and it is so hard to take it seriously... no one wants to be considerate anymore.

  • Sex is only part of the deal. There is a lot more that comes along with marriage
