Married Women, Does your husband wake you up for sex?

Married Women, Does your husband wake you up for sex?

I'm getting pep talks from other women that I should get ready for many sleepless nights because men do this often.

How true is this?

  • I'm a person who struggles to get enough sleep - and I find it difficult to fall back asleep once woken up - so in the beginning, I made an effort not to wake up my girl for sex in the middle of the night.

Then, with my third serious girlfriend, I mentioned that I had woken up horny in the middle of the night, and eventually got back to sleep without waking her. I was expecting her to be appreciative, so I was unprepared for her anger and offense. She was SO upset, and she INSISTED that I always wake her for sex going forward (unless she was sick or specifically asked me to let her sleep for a specific event).

Since then, I always made it a point to ASK my girl her preference. Most wanted to be woken up, but a few wanted their sleep - which I totally understand.

  • I think that totally depends on the relationship. If you truly value your sleep and he truly respects you he won’t wake you up. However some girls get turned on by being woken up by their man balls deep already at it on them. So obviously those girls would want their man to wake them up. It just depends on how your communicate it to him and how he respects yiy.

  • I am not married but I am engaged and I sleep in the same bed as my fiance, and, yes he wakes me up for sex or in some cases wakes me up WITH sex. It surprises me (actually scares me) every time but overall I like it.

  • Once my hubby and I crash there generally isn't any more playing around and if there is you can bet I am the one starting it.

  • Sometimes yes, he knows that I don't like to get disturbed during sleep but still he does when he wants sex; but only if he badly wants sex otherwise he doesn't.

  • Hubby does, but not a lot. Usually, we are both up when he starts making his advances.

  • I have done that on occasion - perhaps once or twice in a year - but not on a regular basis.

  • Unless you lay down some rules, you won't get much sleep.

    • Yes! This is the truth!

  • Sometimes.

  • Yes. It’s true. Being happy has it’s benefits.

  • I wake my wife up for sex all the time. I am less bad now (45, second wife). With my first wife (age 22-32), I needed sex multiple times per day. It never stopped. Even though the marriage ended, the sex was good until the end (even after).

so yes, get used to it.

  • I'm usually the one waking him for sex but yeah sometimes he wakes me. I love middle of the night sex so not a issue for me. Probably the most convenient time to have sex.

  • It's hard not to wake her up sometimes.

One girl I used to date would wake up in the middle of the night and I'd be thinking "oh, sweet this is gonna be awesome" but then she'd turn on the light and start... Doing stuff. Then she'd get mad at me for not being able to hold a conversation at 4:00 in the morning that crazy bitch lol

  • My boyfriend definitely does this. lol

  • If I wake up very horny in the middle of the night I sometimes wake her for sex

  • He doesn’t wake me up first or ask just does it which is a bit uncomfortable it’s ok I guess

  • Sometimes he does. I’ve been known to wake him up from time to time, too.

  • Yeah it happens fairly often but I've told him i dont mind

  • Not married. I wouldn’t see myself doing this personally or appreciating having this done.

When you get married though. You and your husband will have to have your own boundaries as well as not be selfish.

Some women might not mind this while others might. So be clear about it. Most good men will respect your boundaries especially if you respect his.

  • My SO enjoys her sleep and is a bad mood if she doesn't get her beauty sleep.

  • Largely TRUE. A girlfriend and I compromised that I would initiate sex while she was asleep and only wake her when she was ready to orgasm after which she would go back to sleep with a smile on her face. Worked well.

  • What you mean wake her up? She taking the D in her sleep.

  • Yes, we both do this. Sometimes when i get up in the middle of the night to pee I will wake her up for a quickie. She does the same.

  • Yes, it happens all the time.
