Me and my boyfriend had sex 6 days before my period, but I still got my period. Could I be pregnant and still get my period?

My aunt said something about it when I mentioned feeling ill and having cramps, It freaked me the fuck out, now I'm worried if I could be. I know usually having a period means surprise not pregnant! But now I'm left wondering and scared! We used condoms and I'm supposed to get an IUD put in soon (She also discouraged me from doing that, saying it could make me infertile.). I'm just really scared and probably over thinking shit.

I don't think that is possible. One can bleed some because of a pregnancy, but not like full blown menstruation. So if it is a normal period to you I would not worry, especially also since you did use the condom.
6 days before the period is also very off from ovulation time where the egg can be fertilised, at least if your cycle is stable and not often many days off.

If you are in doubt take a pregnancy test soon. Use condoms in the mean time and don’t worry an IUD is a wonderful idea just make sure that it’s not Paragard because they have an ongoing law suit. Just ask your doctor every question you have. I love my iud.

Having your period is opposite of being pregnant. Thought you can be pregnant and bleed.
