  Statistically speaking a condom is 98% effective with perfect usage, people are not perfect however so in the real world they are only 85% effective and that means that if you have sex once a day the condom fails once a week, assuming the lady is ovulating etc one week in 4 then technically you are 'trying to have a baby' once a month. Now the reason that the chance of having a baby isn't 1 in 1 is because it doesn't always happen right away even for those who are actually trying to have a baby but for those who are there is a 30% chance in the first month a 75% chance by month 6, 90% after a year and 95% after 2 years. So its just a roll of the dice. Considering what this woman said about pregnancy, do you want to take that chance?

That is something that will never change even tho women try to change is by doing "slut shaming" and thinking you can use guys for sex.   Not completely silly. You can still catch herpes which can be located in the mouth or around the genitals. Life isn’t foolproof. It’s a big chunk of luck of the draw.
