Misogyny is not rampant in GaG nor is it rampant in western society. Where is it rampant? The Middle East, some parts of Africa, generally highly religious areas.

Also next time you see a post that you think is misogynistic think to yourself, does she/he actually have a point? No? They're probably letting off steam. Yes? Then the point may just be exaggerated so people will actually pay attention to it. Also keep in mind just because you feel it's misogyny doesn't mean it is.
Almost all of it involves dislike and contempt for women. Nearly all. I'm aware of that women in India, China, Africa, the middle east, etc face extreme examples of misogyny, but that doesn't change the fact that there's a subculture of hateful men in the US who antagonize women
No some of the screen shoots you posted were not hateful or contempt to women. the first is a guy who is completely misinformed but it was not hateful, he was just saying what he thought to be true. The second one related to it, was giving a more constructive way of dealing with something rather than learning to fight and he had a good point people really should learn about nutrition and what's good for them and what's not. The third one is talking about a legitimate issue, that fathers are having their kids taken away and it assumed that the mother is the better parent when that is not true in all cases. The screen shot also delved into the 'assuming she's right merely on her word' thinking that so many people seem to have. Rape is wrong, but let's not legitimatize it by believing everyone who says they were because one people lie and two since people lie actual victims can be taken far less seriously than they are now. Anon on the fourth screen shot was a misogynistic comment.
But viridarium has a valid point. I don’t see how the fifth is even relevant though because it seems to be hating against feminists not women. Words_and_Wisdom looks to be attempting to make a point but his point is invalid because it is a failed analogy. “Why are college girls so fat and ugly now” I want to label as misogynistic but I’m hesitant to call it that because he may not be necessarily hating, he may have just made an observation. The one after that is a man in frustration, stereotyping women not hating, also he admits to be being bitter. For anon 30-35 he was giving his opinion and beauty is subjective. The next guy was has a double standard and he’s very unrealistic and illogical, but not misogynistic. “Why are women so bitter” sounds bitter himself and slightly misogynistic. Next one is misogynistic.
The one commenting on the walk through New York as a woman is trying to make another failed point. Next one is using an analogy to make the point that rape is not the victims fault, that one is pro-women. Next one is pointing out something he has noticed. The agree or disagree one has truth in it, men have evolved to be providers and women have evolved to be care takers and he is basically saying how either sex can use it cynically. The last one is another guy in frustration
Woman hating... why should we hate women, most of us love women, we may hate brainwashed feminists... but not women.
I also hate racists, Islamic extremists etc., but not all Muslims, see the difference.
