I know everyone has a varied opinion on this. This is the advice I give anyone that asks and it is the same thing a I plan on telling my kids. Wait.
Waiting doesn't need to mean waiting until marriage.
1. Wait for the right person.
2. Wait until you are 18.
3. Wait until you are out of high school.
4. Wait until you have been in a relationship for about 6 months.
5. Wait until you are 100% sure you won't regret it in the morning.
All through high school I preached to my friends about waiting for marriage and how sex was sacred and should be kept for husband and wife only. I was wrong. Sex is fun, and enjoyable, and healthy. If both parties are ready and prepared.
Now eventually after all that preaching I met my boyfriend. He was a couple years older and more experienced, but I stood by my beliefs. But then we made out a few times, and then I let him get to second base, and next thing I knew we were at third base and heading for home. I loved him. I knew that. But I still wasn't 100% sure, I still I had a feeling I would wake up in the morning and regret it. So I waited. And when I realized I would no longer regret it, that is when we finally went for it.
Waiting does nothing but make the experience more enjoyable. When it's not a hurried experience in the back of a car, when you aren't worried about your parents finding out, when you are prepared (physically, mentally, and emotionally), and doing it with someone you love, the experience is amazing.
Waiting is worth it.

High school was about sex? I must have missed the memo.
@OpenClose considering most people lose their virginity at 16/17 years of age. Sex was an important / is a big part of high school for many.

That is a recipe for finding out you chose a sexually uninterested spouse. There are huge numbers of them out there, and they all use the excuse early on that they want to wait until they are married when really they just don't want to at all. I've known several people this exactly happened to. Then you get the awesome life choice you always wanted, you get to choose between a "selfish" divorce so you can finally find someone you are sexually compatible with or live out the doom of a sexless 80 year marriage. Try before you buy. Both an ex wife and a sexless marriage last a lifetime.
It worked for my parents, my grandparents, my great grandparents as well as uncles and aunts; I'm hoping it works for me. Although I appreciate advice just as well. You can get to know someone very well through dating. Sex isn't everything, its not vital to a happy committed relationship.

You have never had sex! You can't talk about waiting if you've never done it! Waiting won't hurt you. But I repeat. You have never had sex! You can't talk about it and say its an amazing wet experience until you've experienced it! It is amazing! But you can't understand until you have had sex.

I was saying that the girls you are dating are unreasonable. Not you. And masturbating does not make you a loser. Most people masturbate but very few admit to it. There is nothing wrong with it. And yes we have hormones for a reason but not just for sex. You need to learn how to control the sexual 'hormones'.
