That's fine. It's STILL just "dating". First of all, who is he to say whether they're one night stands or not. He couldn't possibly "know" that in a way any judge will accept. As far as I know, unless he can make a case that it's an unsafe or inappropriate environment for the children, he has no chance. Just don't mention that they're one night stands and you're fine. Even if the judge did accept that these are one night stands... I'm pretty sure that STILL isn't going to matter. I really wouldn't worry. You're not doing anything someone could lose custody for. Just because you have a Tinder account? Not a chance. The court will always start with the assumption that joint custody is in the child’s best interest. To get sole custody, he’d have to prove you are an unfit mother in some way that is so egregious that you can’t be trusted with joint custody……abuse, neglect, deplorable living conditions, etc. Dating men from an app has nothing to do with your parenting skills. It sounds like he doesn’t approve of your social life and is threatening to use a custody battle to punish you for it. Make your lawyer aware of what he’s up to.
