My boyfriend thinks I’m cheating on him because he saw a box of opened condoms in my room. What do I do?

Last night, I had the guy I’ve been talking to for several months over to my apartment. I love him. He’s so sweet and we really connect.

I could tell there was a shift in his mood halfway through the night. I kept asking him what was wrong, but he said it was nothing.

We started to get intimate, and I said there’s some condoms on my night table and could we use one. He put one on, and I said, just so you know, I’m in the last few days of my period. He looked a little grossed out, so I said maybe we should pass for now (it would’ve been our first time having sex together).

I again asked him why he seemed so off earlier, and he said he saw the box of condoms and a lot of them were used, so he thought I was cheating. I’ve never cheated physically or emotionally on him or anyone. I told him this along with the fact that I have been cheated on by an ex boyfriend. He has been cheated on a couple times.

We seemed to make up after some talking, but today he’s saying he needs space/to work on himself by himself.

What do I do? I love him and cannot believe a box of condoms that I had leftover is causing this much craziness. I just saved them because they’re expensive. They’ve practically blended in with my room they’ve been there so long.

How do I get him back? I love him.

  • If it’s your first time. Just wait for it the end of your period. Make the first one to remember in a good way not an opportunity for him to earn his red wings.

    • We had sex later that night

  • Go up to him
    Tell him you love him
Show him how old the condoms are
Try to kiss him and tell him your there for him

    • Then tell him you're going to give him a few days Proceed to give him a few days then fuck his brains out

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Definitely any guy who would have feelings for you would get offended by seeing used ones.
    You should throw them away.

    • There were no used ones on the table. Those were thrown away long ago when my ex left. What was left were the eight other un-used condoms sitting in their opened box.

  • Condoms have dangerous chemicals to make men infertile, and women too. Not sure why you are following the Big Pharma and NWO Agenda.

    • Dude Almost everything will give you cancer Lots of food we eat are actually killing us and to top that mens soaps can lead to male infertility Condoms are the least of your problems right now

    • If you avoided every single mass manufactured thing that slowly poisons you over time then you would effectively have no form of modern technology and would be living off the land and would die anyways from avoid hospitals and having almost no medicine that can help you

  • You explain why there was a box of opened condoms in your room.

    • I did explain

  • You are being safe and practical at the same time. sounds like neither one of you were the other's first so it shouldn't shock him to see you have a box of condoms. if he just checked the expiration date he could see that you've had them awhile.

    • How do I help him though? He’a been cheated on before so I feel like his reaction is completely normal. At the same time though, I didn’t cheat on him. I’ve never cheated on anyone I think that is so cruel.

    • That's why I said use the expiration date since you got them and used them before you guys were together it'll show its not a new box and it will be a start in showing him you aren't cheating.

    • The expiration is like in 2023 though. They don’t go bad for a really long time
