My boyfriend wants to shave my pubes?

Usually I wax down there, and I wax it all off, but recently I've been busy, and you could say I've grown a bush. My bf says he likes it, but a couple of times he mentioned half jokingly that he would like to shave it. At first I viewed it as a joke, but they I asked him would he like to do it and he said yes. So we're doing it very soon. So I just wanted to ask what is the motivation for this sort of thing? Is it about trust or just the pure visal and physical phenomenon? Thanks for this info! I an aware of this, but I also think that all girls and guys should know this. Even, I chose to remove them, mostly because I like it all smooth and hairless. But it is important to watch your intimate health!

It's visual. Although I really like a bush, I can enjoy the sight of a girl shaving, especially when it's a big change from bush to bare.
