My female manager licked her lips at me, it made me feel uncomfortable and I think she's spread a lie that I'm a lesbian. What do I do?

If a guy I like is around I'm literally perving on him so I have no idea why she would think it's ok.

  • Superior flirting and harassment with subordinates is illegal and breaches your HR policies. Use it.

    • Thank you for MHG!

    • Report back to us what happened

  • People are bold and don’t think before they do things. She bordering on sexual harassment.

    • Yea, it happened before I had my holiday and has been playing on my mind for a few weeks. I didn't want to say anything as it's made me uncomfortable but as I went back yesterday, it's obvious she's been lying about me.

    • If it continues I’d document it in a personal journal and then bring to your boss. Also, if there are cameras in the workplace, that can aid you if she tries something else. I’ve been to many sexual harassment seminars and unfortunately this pattern of behavior usually continues until someone stands up to them. I’m sorry this happened to you and hopefully it doesn’t continue.

  • One event does not mean much.

You should start recording these events and getting more witnesses before you can even approach the subject with her.

  • I don’t think she meant to….. Maybe bring it up to her or HR if you’re that upset about it. Sometimes people lick their lips for other reasons though.

Also if you’re perving on men seems you’re the problem and just also have a dirty mind

    • I don't really perv on men just needed to get the message across and the freak comes on here to look at what I put up. I would never treat someone in a less than appropriate manner.

    • Then contact HR

  • I don't think licking lips at someone is a cause for alarm. There are always rumors at work.

  • You would have to have video of her saying this or just her voice if you were to have that then you can go to human resources an get her in trouble

  • Either she’s immature and probing if you’re available….. or just immature. See if you can get fired and sue.

  • Contact HR

  • At least she didn’t lick your lips

  • I think she is lesbian and she want to see your reaction about it...

  • Thats not okay

  • You could sue her for defamation of character if you can prove she's spread rumors.

  • Be 100 times a lesbian, wear ultra-lesbian clothes, play lesbian music at your desk and come on to the manager hard and scare her the fuck away.

    • But I'm not lesbian and don't want to be perceived as as one. It may drive aways guys that I like
