I think the feelings are natural considering that it's all so fresh and it you use the term "dumped" as though in a deeper relationship. Whatever type of relationship you had it doesn't diminish the feelings that accrue over time and it's hard not to think about somebody you shared something great with. The obsession will fade over time though. Gotta busy that mind with other things which is easier said than done but at least it can be done.
