My girlfriend still talks to the guy she lost her virginity to, should I let it bother me?

I have gone out with my girlfriend for a month now. She told me she lost her virginity through a friend with benefits relationship and she still talks to him. I got a bit mad and she has showed me the messages between them recently to prove nothing is going on between them. She doesn't talk to him a great deal but she says he has a girlfriend now and that I shouldn't be worried as it's all in the past. He doesn't live close-by. I asked when she last had sex with him and she said it was 6 months ago. I'm trying to not let it get to me, should I just let this go?

I'd advise letting that go, unless you want to sabotage your relationship, make her want to leave, and then going back to her status quo of having an friends with benefits relation with that guy instead of a relationship with you.
