The odds of you having breast cancer are incredibly low. Most breast cancers don' t hurt your nipples. Have you or someone else been paying special attention to your nipples recently? Do you wear wool sweaters w/o aby thing beneath them (very sexy look bit could be irritating.) None of those answers mean you shouldn't bring it up at your next GP visit. Breast cancers are usually detected by feeling a lump in the tissue of your breasts. Check out 1 or 2 reputable health sites like the Mayo Clinic, enter the symptoms and any other info they request and their site can often give you accurrate info. Is it just the nipples or the surrounding aureole? Is there any swelling or inflammation. I'm guessing that you haven't explored things like nipple clips yet so they can be ruled out. Rough handling of them esp. for a few days in a row might cause it. Check them carefully for an insect bite or an open cut that could cause infection. Moisturize them. I wouldn't be too concerned about cancer but it does sound a bit like an infection or simply tenderness from an unknown cause. I would have offered pregnancy as a possibility but that 0doesn't sound possible. If you have an adult woman you feel comfortable speaking to, it might help.

It happens, especially if you often wear tight shirts without a bra they might be getting agitated a bit. Mine tend to hurt a bit and become more sensitive during my periods as well
I don’t wear tight shirts as much but my bra do be tight is that a reason for it to hurt I’ve been wearing lose bras since that day or I just don’t wear one

It's normal, nothing is wrong with you. Tender nipples happens around ovulation or other times of your cycle. It could also be the clothes you wear.
